Green onions 100 g
Mayonnaise (taste) 4 tbsp
Chicken eggs 5 pc
cucumbers 250 g
Crab sticks (or crab meat) 300 g
Canned corn 300 g

How to make a salad of crab sticks with corn and cucumber? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. When choosing crab sticks, be sure to pay attention to the expiration date. Surimi meat (minced white fish) should be listed first in the ingredients list. Do not buy the product if there is frost on it. This is a sign of re-freezing. Fresh sticks should be free of gray and yellow spots, elastic and slightly moist. If the product is sticky, it is spoiled.

It’s better to boil the eggs in advance so you don’t have to wait for them to cool down. Wash them and boil them hard. To do this, pour cold water over them and cook for 10 minutes after boiling over medium heat. To clean boiled eggs well, fill them with cold water. Cool completely, peel and separate the whites from the yolks. Grate them on a fine grater.

The salad can be laid out in layers in a large salad bowl or in portions. I laid out the salad using a cooking ring, but you can carefully lay out the ingredients in a heap. Grease the bottom with a thin layer of mayonnaise. This is necessary in order to hold the bottom layer together so that it does not fall apart when it is eaten. Place a layer of corn on top of the mayonnaise and smooth it out.

Brush the corn with a thin layer of mayonnaise, leaving the edges free of mayonnaise. This way the salad will look neat. Place the next layer of yolks and brush with mayonnaise.

Wash the cucumber and cut off the tail. The skin, if it is not rough, damaged or bitter, does not need to be cut off. Dry and cut the cucumber into small cubes. Lay out the next layer. If the cucumbers are too watery, you can squeeze them a little after chopping.
