Ingredients (4 portions)

Basic:

Onion 1 pc
Olive oil 3 tbsp
Green onions 40 g
Hard cheese 30 g
Herring (cold smoked) 1 pc
Lemons 1 pc
cucumbers 3 pc
Quail eggs 10 pc
Iceberg lettuce 200 g

Recipe instructions

1. Place lettuce leaves in a dish for preparation, having previously separated the thick stems, and tear the leaf with your hands into a medium size. Boil and peel the quail eggs, divide them in half, and place them on top of the lettuce leaves.

2.Using a vegetable peeler or knife, cut the skin of the cucumber into strips to make a striped cucumber. We cut the cucumber into oblong bars and place it in a dish.

3. Remove the fillet from the herring, carefully check for the presence of small bones, try to rid the fillet of them as much as possible. Cut the fillet into small pieces and place in a dish.

4. For beauty and taste, add red and green onions.

5. The finishing touch is Mediterranean dressing! Squeeze the juice of half a lemon, add 2 tablespoons of olive oil, salt and pepper. Pour the sauce over our salad and mix.
