For the salad:

Carrot 200 g
White cabbage 300 g
Celery stalk to taste

For the sauce:

Salt 0.25 tsp
Sugar 2 g
Ground black pepper to taste
Mustard 1 tsp
Sour cream 3 tbsp
Mayonnaise 2 tbsp

How to make a classic coleslaw salad? Prepare the following ingredients. It is better to take young cabbage, but if this is not possible, then from old cabbage select only thin leaves without coarse compactions. Any mustard is suitable for mayonnaise sauce; I used grains. Salt, sugar, pepper can be adjusted to taste, you can also add your favorite spices. Celery can be replaced with apple, bell pepper, lettuce or not added at all.

Remove the top faded and spoiled leaves from the cabbage, wash it and finely chop it. Place the chopped cabbage in a deep bowl.

Peel and rinse the carrots. Grate the carrots on a medium or fine grater. I used a Korean carrot grater. Place the chopped carrots in a bowl with the cabbage.

Wash the celery leaves, chop finely and add to the salad.

In a deep bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, mustard, salt, sugar, ground black pepper and stir. Dress the salad with sauce just before serving.
