Beef and Walnut Layered Salad

Very simple, made from ordinary ingredients, incredibly delicious! Prince salad with beef and walnuts is very easy to prepare — all products are cut and laid out in layers. But you can simply mix them and season with mayonnaise. And replace beef with any other meat, sausage, ham.

Garlic 1 clove
Salt to taste
Eggs 4 pc

Beef 500 g
Pickles 200 g
Mayonnaise (or to taste) 120 g

How to make Prince salad with beef and walnuts? Prepare the necessary products. Choose a less fibrous cut of beef so that the meat in the salad is not tough and not too fatty. I took veal. Fillet or tenderloin will do. Pickled cucumbers can also be used.

Boil beef in boiling salted water until tender. Cooking time will depend on the properties of the meat. Young beef will cook faster. Tougher meat will take longer to cook.

Chop the walnuts with a knife, not very finely.

Peel the garlic and wash it. Grind the garlic on a fine grater or pass through a press. If you want a more piquant salad taste, increase the amount of garlic to two cloves.

Remove the meat from the broth and cool. Cut the meat into small cubes. You can cut the meat into strips, but keep in mind that in this case the shape of cutting the remaining ingredients should be the same. This will make the salad look more beautiful.

Cut the cucumbers into small cubes in the same way.

Hard-boil the eggs at moderate boil for 7 minutes. Pour boiled eggs with cold water and leave until cool. Peel the eggs and cut into small cubes.

Place a serving ring on a plate of a suitable size (mine d=16 cm). Spread half of the prepared beef evenly.

Apply mayonnaise on top.

Then add half of the chopped cucumbers. Spread half of the grated garlic on top.

Add half of the chopped eggs. And again the mayonnaise mesh.

With the remaining ingredients, repeat all layers in the same sequence (meat-cucumbers+garlic-eggs).

Sprinkle chopped walnuts on top of the salad. Place the salad in the refrigerator for half an hour to soak and cool a little.
