In a bowl, beat the egg a little. Add minced meat and pre-chopped onion, bell pepper, chopped garlic, oregano, half of the finely grated cheese and spices to taste. If desired, add a few basil leaves.

Before we forget, turn on the oven to heat up, temperature 200 degrees. Mix our mixture well with your hands.

Grease the baking dish with vegetable oil. Fill each cell with minced meat. Place a piece of cheese in the center of the mass (mine is soft). We cover the top of the future balls with a spoon of minced meat; it is necessary to completely cover the cheese cubes so that our filling does not leak out. Place the pan in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.

Take out the almost finished balls and sprinkle each with the remaining grated cheese, pressing lightly with your fingers. Return everything to the oven again for 15-20 minutes.
