Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make turkey with cauliflower and vegetables in the oven? Prepare all the necessary products. Vegetables can be used either frozen or fresh. This time I have frozen cauliflower and broccoli. Remove the turkey thigh or breast from the freezer and leave until completely thawed at room temperature.

Step 2

Step 2
Wash the turkey thigh well under running water and dry. Remove the skin, separate the meat from the bone and cut the flesh into medium-sized pieces. The bone can be used later to prepare broth.

Step 3

Step 3
Peel the carrots and garlic (if using), wash and dry. Wash the bell pepper, dry it, cut it in half and remove the core and seeds.

Step 4

Step 4
Pour 3-5 tablespoons of olive or vegetable oil into a small deep bowl. Place the garlic cloves in the oil (cut large cloves in half or quarters first).

Step 5

Step 5
Add your favorite dry spices. I took 1 tsp. seasonings for vegetables, allspice and thyme.

Step 6

Step 6
Mix everything well and set aside.

Step 7

Step 7
Meanwhile, take care of the rest of the products. Pour 2-3 tbsp into the pan. oil and heat it up. Send the turkey to roast. Stirring, cook over high heat until the pieces are browned.

Step 8

Step 8
Cut the carrots into large cubes or circles. Pour the remaining oil into a separate pan and fry the carrots for a few seconds.

Step 9

Step 9
Add bell pepper, cut into large pieces. Stirring, leave in the pan until the peppers and carrots are soft.

Step 10

Step 10
Separate cauliflower and broccoli into florets. Boil water in a small saucepan, add salt and place the inflorescences in boiling water for 2-4 minutes (time depends on the size of the cabbage and broccoli). Drain the vegetables in a colander.

Step 11

Step 11
Combine turkey, roasted vegetables and cabbage. Add salt to taste.

Step 12

Step 12
Place the meat and vegetables in a suitable sized baking dish. Place garlic cloves on top.

Step 13

Step 13
Distribute the remaining aromatic oil over the surface of all components in the mold. It is convenient to do this with a silicone brush. Cover the pan with a lid or foil. Place in a preheated oven and bake at 180-200 degrees for about 30-40 minutes. Time and temperature may differ from those indicated in the recipe, rely on the capabilities of your oven. At the end of the recipe there is a link to an article about the features of ovens.

Step 14

Step 14
Five minutes before the end of cooking, I removed the lid and baked the meat and vegetables in the convection mode. The dish is ready. Serve the baked turkey with broccoli and cauliflower, garnishing with herbs if desired.
