How to bake beef with zucchini in the oven? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. You can use any cheese, as long as it is tasty, of high quality and without the use of vegetable fats. If your meat is frozen, you should remove it from the freezer in advance. You will learn how to defrost correctly by reading the article at the end of this recipe.

Wash the beef pulp in running water and dry with paper towels. Remove excess veins and film from the meat, if any. Cut a piece of meat into as small pieces as possible; alternatively, you can make minced beef. In the recipe, the meat was chopped finely by hand.

Peel the onion, rinse, cut into cubes or half rings.

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan. Fry the chopped onion over medium heat until a characteristic smell and golden hue appear.

The next step is to place the chopped beef (or minced meat) into the frying pan. Mix everything well.

Wash the tomatoes in running water and cut into medium-sized cubes. Peel the garlic and finely chop it with a knife, or pass it through a press.

Place tomatoes in a frying pan with meat, add finely chopped garlic. Add salt to taste, at this stage you can add your favorite herbs and spices, such as dry basil, oregano, ground sweet paprika and so on. Mix all the products thoroughly, reduce the heat to medium and, with the lid closed, simmer everything together for about forty minutes. Open the lid periodically and stir the meat.

Wash the zucchini. Cut each fruit in half.

Using a teaspoon, remove the middle of each part, as in the photo. The pulp can be finely chopped and added to the meat for juiciness. The recipe did not use the center of the zucchini.

Fill each half with a heaping of beef. Line a baking dish with baking paper. Place the zucchini on a baking sheet and place in the preheated oven. Bake at a temperature of 190-200 degrees on the “top-bottom” mode for about thirty to forty minutes. The times are approximate, please be guided by the operating characteristics of your equipment. Sprinkle each zucchini with grated cheese and bake again until the cheese is browned and golden brown. This will take about another 10-15 minutes.

Remove the finished zucchini with beef and tomatoes from the oven, pepper to taste with allspice and garnish with fresh herbs. Serve hot.
