Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make a chop with mushrooms and pork cheese in the oven? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. It is best to take pork tenderloin or, like me, boneless loin. Turn on the oven to preheat to 180 degrees while you prepare the food.

Step 2

Step 2
Rinse the pork under cold water and pat dry with a paper towel. Cut the meat into two portions. It happens that there is a thin white film along the edge of the meat. It is she who, during frying, pulls together the beaten meat and from a large piece it turns into a small like bowl with raised edges. To prevent this from happening, use a sharp knife to cut it in several places along its entire length.

Step 3

Step 3
Cover a piece of pork with a thick film and beat it thoroughly with a kitchen hammer on both sides. At the same time, the bond between the fibers is broken, the meat becomes soft and remains large after cooking. Salt and pepper the meat.

Step 4

Step 4
Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan and heat it. Place the chop in the pan and fry on both sides for 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and transfer to a plate. With this method, the meat juices remain inside, as if sealed. This will allow the meat to remain juicy. Read separate articles on how to choose a frying pan and oil. You will find the links at the end of this recipe.

Step 5

Step 5
Grease the mold with vegetable oil and place the meat in it. You can take any shape, but it should be slightly larger than the meat placed in it.

Step 6

Step 6
Peel the onion and rinse. To avoid crying while cutting an onion, keep it in cold water. Finely chop the onion and place on the fried meat. You can also use red onions, shallots and even green onions or leeks.

Step 7

Step 7
Wipe the mushrooms (I used champignons) thoroughly with a damp cloth, cut into slices and place on top of the onion. You can take wild mushrooms, oyster mushrooms, or even frozen ones, after defrosting them and squeezing out the excess liquid.

Step 8

Step 8
Cover the onions and mushrooms with sour cream. Use natural sour cream, not sour, then the meat will turn out tasty.

Step 9

Step 9
Grate the cheese on a coarse or fine grater and sprinkle on top of the meat. You can use any cheese, but the spicier the cheese, the spicier the chop will be.

Step 10

Step 10
Place the pan with the chops in an oven preheated to 180 degrees and bake the meat for about 40 minutes, until cooked. Please note that the times are approximate and will depend on your oven and may take you longer or shorter than mine. Read more about the operation of different ovens in the article below the steps.

Step 11

Step 11
Remove pork chops from oven and serve immediately. These chops go well with any side dish, but they are especially delicious with mashed potatoes and baked vegetables.

Step 12
Bon appetit!
