Baked Spaghetti Nests with Minced Meat and Cheese

Pasta nests with minced meat in the oven — simple and delicious! A simple and at the same time original dish made from available ingredients can make an ordinary dinner with the family festive. At the same time, it requires very little time to prepare; it is easy to prepare. The cooking process can be made even easier and faster by using ready-made pasta — “nests”, or “rolling” them from spaghetti, which does not in any way worsen the appearance of the dish or its taste.

Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
Letʼs prepare the ingredients to prepare the dish. It is better to take spaghetti from durum wheat. You can use any minced meat according to your taste and desire, ready-made or prepared yourself in advance. Of course, a dish with minced meat made from a mixture of pork and beef will be tastier; the dish will be more juicy, tender and tasty.

Step 2

Step 2
Boil the spaghetti in salted water until tender, according to the instructions on the package, but do not overcook them so that they do not turn into porridge when baked.

Step 3

Step 3
Place them in a colander and let the water drain. If we use ready-made chilled minced meat, then add finely chopped onions, salt and ground black pepper to taste, and mix. If we prepare minced meat, we make it into cutlets as usual.

Step 4

Step 4
Wash the tomatoes and cut into circles. Grate hard cheese on a coarse grater. Wash the fresh parsley and finely chop it with a knife. Combine mayonnaise and ketchup and mix in a bowl. Grease the mold with vegetable oil. Place boiled hot spaghetti into it, forming nests. Lubricate them on top with a mixture of ketchup and mayonnaise; mayonnaise can be replaced with sour cream if desired.

Step 5

Step 5
Place some of the minced meat on each spaghetti nest, using a tablespoon to form flat cakes so that the minced meat does not crawl out of the pasta nest during baking.

Step 6

Step 6
Place a slice of tomato on each nest on top of the minced meat.

Step 7

Step 7
Sprinkle with grated cheese and chopped parsley. Carefully pour a little water into the mold, enough to reach a height of 1 centimeter, but so that it does not cover the minced meat. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Bake for about 30 minutes.

Step 8

Step 8
Serve with fresh vegetables and bread. Bon appetit!
