Salt to taste
Mustard 2 tbsp
Dry spices to taste
Mayonnaise 100 g
Rabbit 1 kg

Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
Chop the rabbit carcass into medium-sized pieces. Rinse it well. Then dry with a paper towel. Place all the pieces in a large bowl in which the rabbit will marinate.

Step 2

Step 2
In order for the finished meat to be tender and soft, it must be marinated. To do this, peel and chop the garlic. Add chopped garlic to the meat.

Step 3

Step 3
Then add mayonnaise and mustard. Add a little salt and spices to the marinade to taste.

Step 4

Step 4
Mix everything well so that all pieces of rabbit meat are evenly coated with the marinade. Be careful as the rabbit has many sharp bones that can hurt you. Cover the bowl with a lid or cling film and leave the meat to marinate for 2-4 hours. The longer it is marinated, the tastier and juicier the meat of the finished dish will be.

Step 5

Step 5
Before roasting the meat, peel and chop the onion. Mix chopped onion with meat.

Step 6

Step 6
Place all the pieces of marinated rabbit along with the onions in a pre-prepared baking dish. Cover the top with foil and place the pan in the oven preheated to 200 degrees for 2 hours. During the last 30 minutes of cooking, remove the foil from above and let the meat brown. Serve the finished rabbit meat immediately to the table as a hot dish. If you wish, you can come up with a side dish for it. Bon appetit!
