How to fry pork shashlik over coals on a grill? Prepare the necessary ingredients. It is best to use young and juicy chilled meat. Frozen meat will make kebab tough. Choose pork fillet that has some fat. Cut the pork into equal-sized portions.

Step 2

Step 2
Peel the onion and cut into half rings.

Step 3

Step 3
Place the chopped pork and onions in a separate large bowl. Mix everything.

Step 4

Step 4
Add sparkling mineral water.

Step 5

Step 5
Add the required amount of barbecue spices and salt. Mix everything well and place in a convenient container for marinating. Place something heavy on top so that the meat is covered with sparkling water. Let the meat stand for 3-4 hours in a cool place so that it marinates well.

Step 6

Step 6
Then clean the meat from excess onion and string it onto skewers tightly together. Do not forget to grease the skewers with vegetable oil. Thread the meat onto the skewers so that it does not hang over. Instead of skewers, you can also use a wire rack.

Step 7

Step 7
Grill the shish kebab over hot coals, turning occasionally to ensure it cooks well and evenly. The meat above the grill should be at a height of approximately 10-15 centimeters. In this case, there should be no open fire. Only heat should come from the coals. Eat delicious, ready-made kebab immediately hot. Serve it with boiled potatoes or vegetable salad. Bon appetit!
