Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to stew meat in sour cream? To begin, prepare all the necessary ingredients. It is best to take pork fillet, but if you don’t have it, then remove all bones and skin from the meat. Be sure to take sour cream that is thick, fresh and of the highest fat content.

Step 2

Step 2
Rinse the meat and be sure to dry it, otherwise the meat will not be fried in the future, but will cook in the liquid. Cut the pork into strips and place in a heated frying pan with oil. Be sure to cut the meat across the grain, then the meat will be soft and easily separated into fibers.

Step 3

Step 3
Fry the meat in a frying pan over high heat for 5-7 minutes until golden brown, stirring.

Step 4

Step 4
Peel the onion and cut into half rings. Add the onion to the pan.

Step 5

Step 5
Fry everything for 3-5 minutes over medium heat, stirring to avoid burning. Focus on your stove.

Step 6

Step 6
Add the flour to the pan and stir quickly until the flour is evenly distributed.

Step 7

Step 7
Pour hot water into the pan and stir.

Step 8

Step 8
Cover the pan with a lid and simmer over low heat for 40 minutes. Watch the contents so that they do not burn and, if necessary, add a little water.

Step 9

Step 9
Add sour cream to the pan with meat.

Step 10

Step 10
Add mustard, it will add piquancy and make the meat even softer.

Step 11

Step 11
Add paprika to the pan. You can use any paprika; smoked will give a light smoky aroma, paprika paste will give a deeper color and taste. If you don’t like it, you can exclude this product. Salt and pepper everything, close the lid and simmer on the lowest heat for 20-30 minutes (use your stove as a guide). The meat in sour cream sauce is ready!
