Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to fry a beef steak on a grill pan? Prepare all the products listed in the recipe. What kind of meat should I take? To prepare fried steaks, it is better to use that part of the carcass whose muscles were not involved in the movement of the animal (back, lumbar part, shoulder blade, front part of the rear cut). So, remove the steaks from the refrigerator and leave them for a while.

Step 2

Step 2
Once the steak is at room temperature, you can begin cooking. Heat the grill pan well. The pan should be as hot as possible. Grease the bottom of the pan with oil (this can be done using a silicone brush) and send the steak to fry. The meat should sizzle immediately, this indicates that the pan is hot enough. Fry the beef for 1-2 minutes.

Step 3

Step 3
Then turn the piece of meat over and cook the same way for 1 to 2 minutes. Next, lower the flame on the stove, turn the steak over and cook to the desired degree of doneness. Finish the second side in the same way. I sear the steak, about 2-2.5 cm thick, over high heat for one minute on each side, and then over moderate heat for another 2 minutes per side. In total it took me 6 minutes and the steak turned out to be “medium”.

Step 4

Step 4
Grind the peppercorns in a mortar; they are very aromatic and complement the beef perfectly. You can, of course, use ready-made ground pepper.

Step 5

Step 5
Remove the meat from the pan and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Typically, steaks are not served straight from the pan, but are allowed to rest for a few minutes.

Step 6

Step 6
Wrap each steak separately in foil and leave on a flat surface for 10 minutes.

Step 7

Step 7
Remove rested steaks from foil.

Step 8

Step 8
Serve meat with fresh vegetables and salads.

Step 9

Step 9
Cut the steaks into portions with a thin sharp knife and enjoy the amazing taste! Incomparable!
