Mix the butter with flour until you get a homogeneous and non-sticky mass. If you feel that the dough is a little dry, add a couple of tablespoons of cold water to it.

Take a suitable baking dish. I have a silicone one, 22 cm. To make it easier to remove the cake from the mold, I put two strips of baking paper on the bottom. Pinch off pieces of dough and place them on the bottom and sides of the pan, kneading it with your fingers to a thin layer. Place the crust in the refrigerator while preparing the filling.

Prepare the filling. Prepare food for her. Use cream cheese for desserts, without additives. Mascarpone works well. It is better to take jam with a slight sourness so that it sets off the sweetness of the cream. I have cranberry. The jam should be seedless. You can add vanillin to the filling to taste, I didn’t.

How to make the filling? Place cheese and sugar in a bowl. Beat them with a mixer until smooth. Without stopping beating, add eggs one at a time. It will be more convenient to do this by first breaking them into a separate bowl. Be sure to wash your eggs before using them, as even seemingly clean shells can harbor harmful bacteria. It is best to use food grade detergents and a brush. Beat until smooth and homogeneous.

Prepare ingredients for apple topping. You may need more or less than four apples. I have a medium size, take 3 large ones, 5 small ones. I took brown sugar, it gave the topping a caramel taste. But regular white will do. Instead of almonds, you can use any nuts.
