Ingredients (4 portions)

Basic:

Salt to taste
Wheat flour (+ for working with dough) 140 g
Butter 30 g
Hard cheese 200 g
Baking powder 1 tsp
Soda 1.25 g
Kefir 120 ml

Recipe instructions

In a bowl, combine flour, salt, baking soda and baking powder. Mix dry ingredients. Add cold butter to the dry ingredients and rub with a fork. Then add grated hard cheese and kefir.

Knead a homogeneous dough that will easily hold the shape of a ball, but at the same time slightly stick to your hands.

Transfer the cheese dough to a floured sheet of parchment, sprinkle the dough with flour and use your hands to shape it into a flatbread about 1.5cm thick. Cut the cheesecake into 8 segments.

Grease the cheese cake with kefir. Bake the cheese scones in the oven, preheated to 200 degrees, for 20 minutes. Fragrant, golden brown and very tasty cheese scones are ready to serve. The cheese triangles should be served warm. Ideal for first courses instead of bread! Bon appetit!
