Sugar (+ for sprinkling finished donuts) 50 g
Wheat flour 350 g
Eggs 2 pc
Sour cream (fatty, thick) 200 g
Vegetable oil 300 ml
Baking powder 3 g
Soda 3 g
Vanilla sugar 8 g

Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to fry donuts with sour cream? Prepare your ingredients. Take fatty, thick sour cream. Pour sugar into a deep bowl and beat in the eggs. Beat with a mixer until the sugar is completely dissolved and the mass increases in volume by about 3 times. Add sour cream, baking powder, soda, salt, vanilla sugar. Mix everything thoroughly and start adding sifted flour in parts, kneading the dough. Please note that it may take a little more or less flour than indicated.

Step 2

Step 2
The dough will be a little sticky and soft, but it should hold its ball shape. Form the dough into donuts by rolling the dough into balls by hand, greasing your hands with vegetable oil, or using two tablespoons.

Step 3

Step 3
Heat the oil in a saucepan or saucepan with a thick bottom. The amount of oil depends on the size of the selected dish. Donuts should be completely submerged in oil. Fry the donuts for 4-5 minutes over medium heat until a beautiful golden color appears on all sides. The exact time depends on the size of the donuts and the operating characteristics of your stove. Stir the donuts periodically, preventing them from sticking together and sticking to the bottom or walls of the dish.

Step 4

Step 4
Place the finished donuts on a paper towel so that excess oil is absorbed into the paper. Sprinkle them with sugar (or powdered sugar) and serve hot. Bon appetit!
