Step 1

Step 1
How to make jelly from sour cream gelatin? Prepare the necessary products. You can use any sour cream. The main thing is that it is fresh and does not contain herbal additives. If you are counting calories, then choose a lower percentage of fat content. Regular or instant gelatin is suitable, you can also take sheet gelatin. Adjust the amount of sugar to your taste.

Step 2

Step 2
Pour 100 ml gelatin. water and stir. Leave for 15 minutes for the gelatin to swell. Or follow the instructions on the package.

Step 3

Step 3
Take a small saucepan or saucepan, pour sugar into the container and pour in the remaining 50 ml. water.

Step 4

Step 4
Stir the mixture and place on low heat. Remember to ensure that the sugar does not burn to the bottom.

Step 5

Step 5
Wait until the sugar is completely dissolved and cool the syrup to a lukewarm state. The finished syrup will be clear and thick.

Step 6

Step 6
During this time, the gelatin will swell. Dissolve it in a water bath. To do this, you need to transfer the gelatin into a fireproof bowl and place it in a saucepan with water so that the bottom of the upper container does not touch the water. Heat the water until the gelatin is completely dissolved, but do not boil. Or you can melt gelatin in the microwave. To do this, place a bowl of it in the microwave and melt in short bursts of 10 seconds, stirring each time.

Step 7

Step 7
Place the sour cream in a deep bowl, add the syrup, stirring the mixture constantly. Then pour in the melted and cooled gelatin. Mix the sour cream mixture thoroughly. The syrup and gelatin should be at room temperature so that the sour cream does not curdle.

Step 8

Step 8
Pour the future jelly into molds. To do this, you can take silicone muffin tins, glass bowls, or pour the whole mass into a large mold.

Step 9

Step 9
Wash the red currants, dry them carefully, and tear off the branches. Place the berries in the molds.

Step 10

Step 10
Place the molds in the refrigerator for 2 hours to allow the jelly to completely harden. To do this, it is convenient to place the molds on a cutting board or plate in advance. This way the sour cream mixture will not spread.

Step 11

Step 11
The jelly is ready! If you poured it into silicone molds, simply pull the edges of the mold and the jelly will easily appear on the plate. Decorate it with berries and mint and serve dessert to the table. Bon appetit!
