Honey-Cinnamon Baked Apples

A healthy, light and very tasty dessert — you wonʼt be able to put it down! To prepare baked apples with honey and cinnamon you will need a minimum set of ingredients. It only takes five minutes to prepare, even a novice housewife can do it! The apples turn out spicy, sweet, incredibly tasty!

Sugar 1 tsp
Apples 3 pc
Honey 3 tsp
Ground cinnamon 0.5 tsp

How to bake apples with honey and cinnamon? Prepare all the necessary products. I used cane sugar and it added a caramel note. It is preferable to choose sour varieties with firm pulp — Granny Smith, Antonovka, Semirenko, Ranet. Sweet varieties are best baked without sugar and honey. Turn on the oven at 200 degrees in advance.

Wash the apples. Using a knife, carefully remove the center of the apples along with the seeds in a circular motion, without cutting through the apple all the way. If the apples are very large, then they can be cut into halves, cored and baked.

Using a vegetable peeler or paring knife, remove two turns of the peel in a spiral pattern (see video).

Mix sugar and cinnamon on a plate. Dip the cut portions of the apples in the cinnamon sugar mixture.

Bake apples in a preheated oven at 200°C for 20 to 30 minutes. The exact time depends on the type of apple and your oven. Serve the finished apples warm or cooled. When serving, you can sprinkle them with powdered sugar if the apples were sour varieties. Bon appetit!
