How to make a yeast pie with an egg in the oven? Measure out the required ingredients. Warm the milk slightly.

In a small bowl, combine the yeast, 1 tsp. sugar (of the total amount) and about 50 ml of lukewarm milk. Stir. Leave the mixture for 10-12 minutes to activate the yeast. A lush yeast “cap” will appear on the surface.

Sift the flour into a wide, spacious bowl to saturate it with oxygen. This is an important point that helps the dough rise better. And the resulting baked goods will be more fluffy.

Melt the butter in the microwave or over low heat on the stove. Cool the oil a little.

To prepare the dough, select a large bowl. Beat the egg with the remaining sugar and salt until smooth.

Pour in the rest of the milk and stir.

Knead a soft, tender dough that does not stick to your hands. It should not be steep, otherwise the baked goods will be difficult to rise. Cover the bowl with the dough with a towel and leave for 60-80 minutes to rise. The rising time may vary, as it depends on the temperature, dough consistency, and yeast activity.

Prepare the filling. Be sure to wash your eggs before using them, as even seemingly clean shells can harbor harmful bacteria.

Boil the eggs hard. How to hard boil eggs? To prevent eggs from cracking during cooking, place them in cold water and cook over low heat. Boil the eggs for 7-8 minutes after boiling, then cover with cold water and cool. The shell will be better cleaned from a sharp temperature change. Peel the eggs, cut into small cubes.

In a container of suitable size, combine prepared green onions, eggs, and grated cheese. Salt the filling a little, but take into account the saltiness of the cheese. Mix everything well.

It is better to start forming the cake from the top. Roll out a larger portion of the dough into a round layer. I got it with an approximate diameter of 20 cm. Using a dough roller or a knife, cut the middle of the layer into 16 parts, not reaching the edges.
