Chrysanthemum Meat and Cheese Pie

Surprise your guests and loved ones with beautiful, delicious pastries! I always admired the creations of housewives who baked closed pies with filling. On top of these pies were decorated with figures of swans or other birds cut out of dough, and leaves. And along the edge there was a beautifully braided braid. Such masterpieces can be created by those who love baking and who like the smell of hot, fresh baked goods. But not all housewives can cut out beautiful figures from dough and not everyone has such ready-made molds. And I want beauty! I recently saw a recipe for Chrysanthemum meat pie. This is a ready-made solution for all housewives who want beauty! Moreover, there is no need to cut out anything complicated. The sculpting of petals for Chrysanthemum is simple. The mission of all women on earth is to decorate everything that comes into their hands (in this case, a pie). So — boldly forward!

Step 1
Ingredients.

Step 2

Step 2
Letʼs prepare the dough. Mix yeast, sugar and warm milk, place in a warm place to rise for 15 minutes.

Step 3

Step 3
Knead the dough from all ingredients. Mix salt, egg, kefir, vegetable oil and the risen dough into the flour. If the dough sticks too much to your hands, add flour.

Step 4

Step 4
Place the finished dough in a cup, cover with cellophane, leave in a warm place to rise for 1 hour.

Step 5

Step 5
Letʼs prepare the filling. Add finely chopped onion to the minced meat, add salt and pepper and pour in the broth (can be replaced with water mixed with seasonings). Mix well. Separately, grate the hard cheese on a coarse grater.

Step 6

Step 6
The dough will need to be kneaded and divided into parts. Dust the table with flour to prevent the dough from sticking. Roll out the dough to about 3 mm thick and cut out circles with a glass.

Step 7

Step 7
Place minced meat and a pinch of cheese on each circle. Fold each circle in half, like a dumpling, and in half again. Pinch the ends.

Step 8

Step 8
Place greased parchment paper in the pan so that you can easily remove the finished cake. And lay out the finished petals in a circle, as close to each other as possible.

Step 9

Step 9
For the middle of the pie we make a rose. Place the minced meat on the 3 halves of the rounds and overlap them.

Step 10

Step 10
We start rolling from the end. It turns out to be a rose, put it in the middle of the pie.

Step 11

Step 11
Cover with cellophane. Leave for 20 minutes for the dough to rise, then brush with beaten egg and place in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 40 minutes.

Step 12

Step 12
The finished pie will need to be greased with melted butter, covered with a towel and left for 15 minutes. You can not melt the butter, but simply pry it with a fork and walk it over the hot pie, it will melt.

Step 13

Step 13
The meat pie is ready, bon appetit!

Step 14

Step 14
This is how it looks in cross section.
