Basic:

Salt to taste
Sugar 100 g
Apples 600 g
Cinnamon 0.25 tsp
Wheat flour 220 g
Butter 150 g
Eggs 3 pc
Honey 50 g
Baking powder 4 g
Soda 3 g

Sift the flour along with baking powder and soda. There are 5 medium apples, but you can safely take 6-7. The amount of dough allows for more filling. Spices — optional. I have: cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg. Oil 82% fat.

Beat eggs with salt and sugar until fluffy and lightened. My mixer is weak, this may take me 10-15 minutes.

While the eggs are being beaten, I wash, peel and chop the apples fairly large.

I melt the oil and honey either in the microwave or in a steam bath. Connecting. Let it cool a little.

I combine flour with baking powder, soda and spices. I stir.

When the eggs are beaten, add the butter and honey. I stir for just a couple of minutes. Then I add the dry ingredients in 2-3 additions. Mix well. Mixed with a mixer at low speed. Itʼs okay if the dough loses its fluffiness a little.

I add apples. Mix everything well again. I put it in the form and level it out. By the way, the size is 19 cm. I greased the sides with butter. Sprinkle the top well with sugar. Ideally, of course, brown. And I put it in an oven preheated to 170 degrees. Baking time is at least an hour. Itʼs better to focus on your oven. If you increase the temperature too much, the cake will darken well (due to the honey). This way it will bake evenly and get a golden crust.

I baked for 40 minutes under foil, then 35 minutes without. I check readiness with a wooden stick. It should come out dry and clean.

Let it cool completely and remove from the mold.

If desired, sprinkle with powdered sugar.

And you can serve. The photo, of course, does not convey everything, but the knife simply dissolves in the pie. Very tender, aromatic, but moist. Not complicated at all and so delicious.

No one will definitely refuse a piece of such a pie. Lots of apples with a slight sourness, sweet, aromatic dough and a crispy, sugary crust. Moist, tender, spicy, moderately sweet.
