How to bake fish and potatoes in the oven? Prepare your food. Any fish is suitable — red, white, river, sea. You can use whole carcasses, fillets or steaks. I have cod fillet. In addition to potatoes, any vegetables will go into the dish; I took onions, carrots, bell peppers and cherry tomatoes. Wash and dry the vegetables.

If the fish is frozen, defrost it first. Cut into portions. Place in a bowl, add spices, salt, lemon juice and olive oil. Stir and leave to marinate while you prepare the vegetables. Instead of olive oil, you can take any vegetable.

Peel the onion and cut into large slices — this will make it look more beautiful in the finished dish.

Remove the core and seeds from the pepper. Cut the pulp into cubes.

Cover the pan with foil and press the edges tightly. Place the dish in the oven, preheated to 200°C. Bake potatoes and fish for 40 minutes to 1 hour. The exact time will depend on the features of your oven and the volume of food. Check the potatoes for readiness — they should become soft.
