Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make zucchini with minced meat and potatoes in the oven? Prepare the necessary products. Any minced meat is suitable: beef, pork, chicken. I have a mixed one (pork, beef). Turn on the oven to 180 degrees in advance.

Step 2

Step 2
Grate the pre-peeled onions on a fine grater or chop in a blender. If you make minced meat yourself, you can pass the onion along with the meat through a meat grinder.

Step 3

Step 3
Add grated onion, ground black pepper and salt to the minced meat. Mix well.

Step 4

Step 4
Wash the zucchini and dry. If the zucchini is young with thin, tender skin, you don’t have to peel it. If the skin is tough, cut and remove seeds from the vegetable. Grate the zucchini on a coarse grater, add a little salt and stir. When the vegetable juice comes out, squeeze it well.

Step 5

Step 5
Peel the potatoes, wash them, grate them on a coarse grater. Salt the potatoes and also squeeze out excess juice.

Step 6

Step 6
Grease a baking dish with a small amount of vegetable oil. I have a mold measuring 18*18 cm. How to successfully choose a mold for cooking, read the article at the link at the end of the recipe. Place grated potatoes in an even layer on the bottom of the pan and smooth with a spoon.

Step 7

Step 7
Distribute the minced meat evenly in the next layer.

Step 8

Step 8
Then add a layer of grated zucchini and press it down with a spoon.

Step 9

Step 9
Brush the zucchini layer with any tomato sauce.

Step 10

Step 10
Grate the cheese on a coarse grater. You can take any cheese: hard, semi-hard, soft. The main thing is that it is tasty, without milk fat substitutes.

Step 11

Step 11
Sprinkle the casserole with grated cheese.

Step 12

Step 12
Wash the eggs. In a bowl, beat eggs with sour cream until smooth. Be sure to wash your eggs before using them, as even seemingly clean shells can harbor harmful bacteria.

Step 13

Step 13
Pour the egg-sour cream mixture over the casserole.

Step 14

Step 14
Wash the tomatoes and dry them. Cut the tomatoes into slices. Choose tomatoes that are ripe but firm, with thick skin so that they retain their shape when cut.

Step 15

Step 15
Place tomato slices on top of the filling.

Step 16

Step 16
Bake the dish in an oven preheated to 180 C for about 35-40 minutes. Set the cooking time and mode taking into account the operating characteristics of your oven. They may not match those indicated in the recipe. Useful information on this topic can be found in the article at the link at the end of the recipe. If the top browns early, cover the pan with foil.

Step 17

Step 17
Cut the finished casserole of zucchini and potatoes with minced meat into portions and serve as an independent dish. Bon appetit!
